Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account data — email address and name provided during registration via Google sign-in or email login.
  • Payment data — transaction records including order IDs and payment status. Card details, UPI IDs, and banking credentials are processed and stored exclusively by Razorpay — we do not have access to them.
  • Gameplay data — player names entered during sessions, game scores, and room activity for the duration of the session.
  • Analytics data — anonymized usage data collected via Google Analytics to improve the Platform.

How we use your information

We use the information collected to operate and improve the Platform, process payments, provide customer support, and analyse usage patterns. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

  • Razorpay — to process payments securely.
  • Google Analytics — anonymized usage data for improving the Platform.
  • Supabase — our hosting and database provider, for storing account and session data.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies to maintain authentication sessions and support analytics. No tracking cookies are used for advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Data retention

Gameplay session data is retained for your room history and dashboard. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained by Google per their own retention policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP)

We process personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). Under this Act:

  • Lawful basis. We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given at sign-up or purchase) and for the purpose of providing the services you have requested.
  • Purpose limitation. We collect only the data necessary to operate the Platform and do not use it for any purpose beyond what is described in this policy.
  • Data Principal rights. As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to: (a) access a summary of your personal data we hold; (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) erase your personal data where we no longer have a lawful purpose to retain it; (d) withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal); and (e) nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Grievance redressal. To raise a data-related grievance, contact us through our support page. We will respond within a reasonable time. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India once the Board is constituted under the DPDP Act.
  • Cross-border transfers. Your data may be stored on infrastructure operated by Supabase and Google, which may be located outside India. We ensure such transfers are made only to countries or entities that provide adequate data protection.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us through our support page.
