What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service: session data needed for gameplay (such as names entered during a game session) and basic usage analytics. We do not require account creation, and we do not store personal information beyond the active session unless you explicitly provide it.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not build advertising profiles. Your game data stays yours.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Merriments — which features are popular, where users drop off, and how to prioritize improvements. This data is aggregated and anonymized; we cannot identify you individually from it. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies to keep game sessions alive and to support analytics. No tracking cookies are used for advertising.
Data retention
Session data is cleared when your session ends. Analytics data is retained by Google per their own retention policy.
Terms of Service
Use of the service
Merriments is a platform for social party games. You agree to use it for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. Don't use it to harass others or upload harmful content.
Availability
We aim to keep Merriments available at all times, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

All content, branding, and code on Merriments is owned by us. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the platform without permission.
Limitation of liability
Merriments is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of Merriments after changes means you accept the updated terms.
